I'm Michael Guiao, Senior Underwriter Cyber at Sompo International based in Cologne, Germany. Resiliently.ai is my personal project where I share hands-on experience from the front lines of cyber insurance and curate AI-researched content for the industry.

Before Sompo, I served as Senior Cyber Risk Engineering Lead Germany at Zurich Resilience Solutions, where I conducted technical cyber risk assessments for multinational organizations across manufacturing, financial services, and beyond. Prior to that I worked as a Cyber Risk Specialist at AXA, an IT Auditor at Xella Group, and a Consultant in Financial Services Risk Assurance at PwC — giving me a front-row seat to how organizations actually deal with cyber risk: the good, the messy, and everything in between.

On the side, I build AI automation tools — not just for insurance, but across operations, marketing, and ecommerce. I'm especially interested in how multi-agent AI systems can streamline workflows that traditionally require too much manual effort.

Resiliently is where I share what I'm learning — from hands-on risk engineering work and regulatory developments like NIS2 and DORA, to experiments with AI automation across different industries. The goal is to make these topics accessible and practical for insurance professionals.
